This course, Digital Security Awareness, will provide you with an understanding of the skills needed to protect yourself and your information on the digital front. You will learn about what types of security threats are out there and how to prepare for them. You will be able to explain the process and countermeasures for social engineering attacks. You will also learn about identity theft, how it happens and how to secure against it.
This course then explains data classification, from what data should be classified to the various types of classifications you will work with. You will learn about protecting your digital information by performing backups and properly managing your passwords. You will also learn about malware, from types of malware you are likely to see to what software to use to detect and remove malware.
This course then wraps up by discussing privacy and security policies. You will learn how to keep your sensitive data private and secure. By taking this course you will learn the skills needed to protect your digital assets and information.
