This free warehouse management course will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful warehouse manager. You will first be introduced to the basics of warehouse management. Next, you will be taught about the function of warehouses in modern supply chains. Understanding the role of warehouses will form the foundation of your knowledge, allowing you to build your skillset.
You will learn about warehouse technology, before gaining insight into important processes and systems. Next, you will learn about managing people and health and safety requirements. After learning how to control inventory levels, you will finally be shown methods of managing costs within your warehouse. As you complete each section, you can test yourself with assessments. There are ten assessments throughout the course, followed by a final assessment.
The diploma certification course also comes with optional activities and exercises to help with your revision and study. By the end of the course you will have a strong understanding of the basics of warehouse management. Warehouses play an essential role in modern supply chains. With ever growing global trade and e-commerce sales, warehouse managers hold significant responsibility in serving consumer demands.
